Is UART included in main ZX Core?
Is UART included in main ZX Core?
Hello!
Mine ZX-Uno in Russia and I'll get it soon! ESP-12F module already bought.
I wish to make some network tools(first priority - port part of zifi tool to uno - wifi client for vtrd.in and other spectrum-oriented sites on ts-conf).
Does Uart works in mainline firmware? What pinout of uart used? Does someone(except me) wants download games from vtrd.in from your speccy?

Re: Is UART included in main ZX Core?
As I understand it, there is a separate core with UART support, but it's not robust. This may be of interest: https://github.com/yomboprime/FTP_Uno
Re: Is UART included in main ZX Core?
Why doesn't include UART to mainline core?
I think - this is useful thing.

Re: Is UART included in main ZX Core?
Probably lack of demand. It's easy to use a WiFi SD card to send files to the machine via a webdav interface. And there was no revival in interest in PLATO at the time (https://www.irata.online/).nihirash escribió:Why doesn't include UART to mainline core?

Re: Is UART included in main ZX Core?
I've made client adoption for one FPGA board: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saIC5yKLjjA
It wasn't stable(it haven't control lines for RS-232 and lost some data) but on UNO possible to make stable version.
If someone want it - I can make it.

Re: Is UART included in main ZX Core?

Your ZX-Go looks so pretty!
When I'll receive mine UNO I'll try to port platoTerm for it.

Re: Is UART included in main ZX Core?
http://forum.tslabs.info/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=682

As you know, TSConf isn't just Pentagon 4096.azesmbog escribió:

But I think about using ZiFi code base for creating vtrd.in client.
There real to port anything except zx enhanced things. But there really easily to rewrite client using ZiFi proxies.
