Hi guys,
the Bios is 0.41. Sadly it doesn't says what Spectrum core is.
But yes - I surely can update it, Antonio has left me some instructions.
That is - if I had some required files, I imagine.
Greetzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!

Better to ask separate modes Timex / ZX Spectrum in SETUP. In ZX Spectrum mode it is possible to leave the support of the Timex Computer 2048, because it lacks Extension ROM and AY. Thus, to prevent incorrectly written programs you need to modify the decoding port #FF as follows: CS#FF/ = (A0/ + A1/ + A2/ + A3/ + A4/ + A5/ + A6/ + A7/ + IORQGE + WR/) + ((D1 + D2 + D7) & (D0 + D1/ + D7))

Hmmm. Possibly it makes sense too, indeed.
I'd have to check out whether those games even work on Timex 2048 - or to just the same there. Ha!
Thx.

Without changing the decode of the port #FF will not work.
CS#FF/ = (A0/ + A1/ + A2/ + A3/ + A4/ + A5/ + A6/ + A7/ + IORQGE + WR/) + ((D1 + D2 + D7) & (D0 + D1/ + D7))
Protection is based on the fact that all combinations other than (D1 + D2 + D7)=0 and (D0 + D1/ + D7)=0 are prohibited when writing to the port #FF for the TC2048 computer.

It reports it on the boot screen, just before jumping to the user ROM.
Alternatively, you can use the .zxunocfg ESXDOS command to query about the present state of ZX-UNO and its core version.
