Magnetic Beads...

Mensaje por redhawk668 » 06 Abr 2018, 15:41

Hello There,

I want to build a ZX Uno myself and I have studied the BOM on the site. I can get most of the components at Digikey and for the components that are now obsolete at Digikey I have found alternatives. But, what I can't find are the SMD 0805 1K 3A magnetic beads. These are, correct me if I'm wrong, ferrite beads. The ferrite beads I can find at Digikey are maximum 1,5A 1K, can I use them on the ZX Uno or do they have to be 3A?

If it has be 3A, where can I find those components?

Yes, they are ferrite beads. 1.5A should work just fine.

I found ferrite beads at AliExpress, they are high current and the right value. I did had to order a whole bunch of them, but let’s say they were dirt cheap :D .
