Looking for a 48k with 64 chars per line
Hi,
as I like fiddling around with the ZX-Uno using 48k Basic
I've got one big desire: 64 chars/line...
Question to anybody who may know: Is there a possibility to add 64 chars/line to a 48k core, such as Timex resolution?
THNX 4 the info.

Boot the Chloe core (SE BASIC IV 4.0 Anya on my Uno v4.2) and type this!
Código: Seleccionar todo
MODE 1

Re: Looking for a 48k with 64 chars per line
Thanks for the lightspeed quick info!
I've got a ZX-Uno VGA 2M. It seems the "Chloe core" isn't installed.
Do I have to select it as "Core" or "boot machine"?
(Sorry, I'm not that firm with the ZX-Uno and there's not so much "non Spanish" documentation available for it... )

Re: Looking for a 48k with 64 chars per line
It's a ROM for the Spectrum core. An opensource replacement for the 48K ROM by Andrew Owen, with some additional features like 80 column mode and ULAplus added, plus a machine design to implement them.
I don't know anything the ManuFerHi machines, so hopefully somebody else will advise you what versions you need.
While you are waiting, you can also try it in ZEsarUX emulator, manufacturer Chloe Corporation, machines Chloe 140SE or Chloe 280SE.

Re: Looking for a 48k with 64 chars per line
As I've got "Just The Board" (ZX Spectrum Next), I think I'm fine with this...
(Is it part of the Next delivery? - I haven't checked as I'm fine with Next OS so far... )
Can you tell me where I can get this ROM?
THNX 4 info.

Re: Looking for a 48k with 64 chars per line
As I know this... (see above... ;->>> )
ZX-Uno (to me) is for spanish users, isn't it...
P.S.: So HOPEFULLY the board I've just ordered will fit into my brandnew 48k without any issues...
P^2.S.: JEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm one of the lucky guys who has a brandnew (==unused) Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48k, including all parts...
(The ZX-Uno board shall fit into it, without any cutting parts or so. So I hope that - at least - this will be OK... )

Re: Looking for a 48k with 64 chars per line
Nice screen, nice resolution, nice Font...
(NICE Lambo!!!)
P.S.: As I think the ZX-Uno is the "better Spectrum@the moment"
(as the Next)
I'll need some help to make it work for me...
