As I understand it, there is a separate core with UART support, but it's not robust. This may be of interest: https://github.com/yomboprime/FTP_Uno
Phase 6 is complete. There is now an auto-update mechanism that updates the BASIC and OS during bootup if a firmware file is detected. UnoDOS 3 is now mandatory (but supports a patched version of the Dr. Slump NMI menu when emulating a Spectrum). Now that I can load files during the bootstrap proces...
That's very cool. And as it's GPLv3 I'll include it in the next version of UnoDOS 3 (which is also GPL). Although esxDOS is closed source, you probably won't need to dual license it for use, just for inclusion in the standard distribution, in which case LGPL will probably do.
Firmware development is progressing nicely. Shortly I hope to have the bootstrap ROM automatically detect and install updates during the boot cycle. I'll also address the issue of WiFi SD cards needing to be remounted after WebDAV changes are applied. That will enable me to wirelessly push new build...
Well, right now the Chloe firmware targets the standard ZX FPGA core. But the aim is for the Chloe to have its own FPGA core. So that comes first, then the hardware. But before that, the Chloe needs some applications, and I have a few ideas for those.brunosilva escribió:and after that make a batch of the hardware!

Anyway, I've ruled out the project, there's no interest. Actually your proposal has some overlap with the Chloe 280SE core that I have been writing up a specification for over the last few years. Given the direction ZX clones have taken of late, I decided to throw out compatibility and just make th...
